If you haven’t had a chance to leave us your feedback about the event yet but would like to please fill in our short survey. It would be great to hear from you so we can continue to improve our offer. Send us your feedback HERE.

A Virtual Venue

For the very first time in our history, we will be hosting a large virtual event in the fascinating world that is the PPMA Zoom room.  We’ve been experimenting with our Virtual Webinar series during lockdown and we are excited about the opportunities it has given our members and hopefully new members and our sponsors to connect.

Our virtual event will be our first opportunity to gather everyone together since Coronavirus took over our daily lives.  We feel strongly that our original conference theme ‘Tomorrow’s World: Purposeful Work and Lives’ is ever more resonant.  But it’s also really important that we capture learning from the last 6 months and think about how it will inform the very different world we might have been expecting to talk about when we initially planned our theme.

None of us could have envisaged at the start of this year the events that have unfolded and continue to unfold.  We are keeping our original theme, but have tweaked it slightly for the Virtual Conference.

Our theme is ‘Preparing for Tomorrow’s World….’

The work going on across our HR & OD community has been truly astonishing. And it has been done in hugely challenging circumstances.  The dedication, commitment and compassion you have shown has been humbling.  Not all of us have had the chance to reflect on that and September will allow us to do some of that together.

Whilst remote working has become much more commonplace for all of us, it’s by no means the easier option.  As we have all experienced during these last few months in particular, working remotely using technology is an intensive experience.  With this in mind we have designed a programme that is sensitive to the need to provide content that is easily accessible, allow you to interact with colleagues and sponsors – but one that allows breaks.  This will help you make the most out of this experience.

It’s going to be a proactive, energising, innovative and thought provoking 2 days. We look forward to sharing that with you.

You can read a Glideshow overview about conference here.

Questions

We know that there are a number of questions arising from our need to move our face to face conference to next April.  We have put a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document together.  You can read that here.  If there are still questions that you have and aren’t answered please do let us know by emailing [email protected].  We will update the FAQ document on an ongoing basis as necessary.
