PPMA South West Councils and Oracle are Jointly Hosting a Regional Event – 9th June 10am to 12 noon.
On 9th June the SW PPMA Regional event will focus on the current challenges facing employees today with well-being at work from the pandemic, what it means for Local Government and how HR is best placed to lead their organisation in supporting the workforce.
We will be joined by our sponsor Oracle, with the team updating us on the latest findings in Volume Two of Oracle’s AI@Work research.
Building on the first report which featured in September’s conference, alongside the survey and focus group results from PPMA members, the findings received global media coverage, including the statistics that 82% of people believe robots can support their mental health better than humans and 68% would prefer to talk to a robot over their manager about stress and anxiety at work. Another finding was that three quarters of employees believed their organisation should be doing more to protect the mental health of their workforce.
The findings from Volume Two, entitled ‘Mental Health at Work Requires Attention, Nuance and Swift Action’, includes how leaders are finding it lonely at the top, as well as wider demographic viewpoints across the workplace. In this session we really want to hear from you, gain your insights and viewpoints with peer to peer conversations and networking.
