Hello PPMA members and friends

A couple of weeks ago I did a vlog about happiness and how the spring season with flowers and trees starting to come to life is so positive and makes me happy.

Now, I know these last few days have felt particularly wintry, but we have also experienced some lovely sunny days as well recently. The spring season is full of renewal and vibrancy. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the last year and consider all that you have achieved in supporting and helping your organisations to cope, manage and support the communities that we serve in public service.

The past year has been one of the most challenging for public services, but we have witnessed many of our colleagues go above and beyond to continue to deliver services. This spring I want you to not only reflect on your achievements but also commemorate them and what better way to do this than enter our PPMA awards to celebrate and share the fantastic work that you have been doing every day in our organisations.

The PPMA Excellence in People Management Awards 2021 acknowledge and celebrate success, achievement and dedication. There are many categories to choose from including recruitment, transformation, development, diversity & inclusion, partnership working and wellbeing.

Our fantastic sponsors are supporting and helping to judge each award. And we hope to have a special celebratory event for all our winners at the end of the year, where we can all meet and join together to celebrate.
