The Public Services People Managers Association (PPMA) is the first choice association for people professionals in public services.

For 50 years we have been a collective voice for a highly qualified, passionate, committed and diverse public services Human Resources (HR) and Organisation Development (OD) community. PPMA Annual Conference

The PPMA Annual Conference 2026 will take place on Thursday 23rd – Friday 24th April at the Birmingham Metropole Hilton. Streamlined from three days to two, the conference offers a focused and engaging programme for HR, OD, and people managers in the public sector.

One of PPMA’s core strengths is the time and investment we make in running a series of talent development programmes. These have been run successfully for a number of years and always receive positive feedback from those participating.
