PPMA Excellence in People Management Awards 2020

PPMA Excellence in People Management Awards 2020 2020-01-17T18:31:13+00:00

The awards are our annual opportunity to celebrate and share the fantastic work being done by HR & OD professionals across public service organisations. Each year the work we do directly contributes to our organisations success and the delivery of excellent services to our citizens. Our awards programme is an opportunity for us to shine a spotlight on work that is particularly outstanding. Sharing our success is an important way of improving standards across public services.

Who can enter our Awards programme?

The programme is open to ALL public sector organisations, voluntary sector organisations including charities, private sector organisations, individuals and academic institutions with a place of business, registered office or home address in the UK.

What are the terms of entry?

You can enter into one or more award categories, but a separate entry form is needed for each entry.

The work/project that is entered must have been taken place between May 2018 and December 2019. This deadline gives you an opportunity to enter work that is fully completed or, work that is being implemented in several stages, but nevertheless has supporting evidence

You cannot submit the same entry in multiple categories. Also you cannot enter an award that has won in previous years.

Any award that has been entered without the knowledge of an organisation will be disqualified.

Entries from sponsors and PPMA Board members can be submitted. Sponsors do not take part in award judging and any PPMA Board members who have submitted Board entries will not be allowed to judge their entries.

Why should you enter the awards?

Simply put, this is the national opportunity to have your work recognised amongst your peer community, Public Service Leaders and the wider media.

It is also an opportunity to influence your peer group and shape current and future HR & OD practice based on your work. It is also a great development opportunity and one we strongly encourage you to take.

How much does it cost to enter the awards?

There is no charge for PPMA members, irrespective of the number of awards you choose to enter.

For non PPMA members, each entry costs £25 plus VAT.
