Organisational change – Don’t Forget How It Feels
How many of us stop to think about the emotions underlying the behaviours we may see, from those people steaming ahead right though to those digging their heels in?
At this event PPMA Yorkshire & Humber with Gatenby Sanderson will explore Organisational Change. HR, OD, and L&D folk frequently use a Transition Curve to help us to understand how individuals, teams and functions in our organisations are responding to change.
Kate Pearlman Shaw reminds us that underpinning every reaction to change is an emotion and that attending to the emotion is equally important as making sure that the purpose and the information about the change are clear and understood. Kate goes on to look at how the HR/OD and L&D communities can hone in on this emotional range in a change process in an organisationally acceptable way that speeds up the adherence to change.
Come along to find out more about the fantastic work that the PPMA are doing regionally and opportunities for membership of the Association. You can book your place through the eventbrite website here.
