The PPMA Rising Star event is for applicants who have had at least 5 years operating as an HR professional and now looking to take the step into a senior HR role at some point in the near future. Our One to Watch programme is run alongside our Rising Stars event. It is a programme designed to test people at the early stage of their HR professional career. Personal qualities will be tested in a range of activities, with a focus on ensuring we encourage individuals to enhance their confidence and resilience.
The PPMA is keen to create an environment where talent can shine, and to offer opportunities for everyone to learn, grow and stretch themselves. Through your participation, your organisation is telling you that you have the potential skills and qualities to be a future leader in the Public Sector. It will be up to you to make the most of this unique experience and to cherish your networks online and offline over the coming months and years.
This event is all about identifying and showcasing the tremendous breadth and depth of emerging talent that we have in the Public Sector. Included in this briefing pack is everything you need to know about the event: what you have to do next, dates and deadlines, how the competition will work, the results and rewards.

Who can take part?
Our programme is open to all HR & OD colleagues across public service organisations who are currently working in manager level roles. We welcome people from all backgrounds and experience.

Enter the competition by downloading and reading the information pack and completing the application form HERE for the Rising Star and HERE for the One to Watch or by clicking on the relevant logo below and sending it to [email protected] by 12 noon on Monday 13th January 2020 Shortlisting will then take place and successful applicants will be notified and invited to the face-to-face assessment.
