CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS!!!!

After 2 fantastic days at Warwick Business School with all of our very talented finalists, we’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in the Rising Star and One to Watch competitions. And a very well deserved CONGRATULATIONS to our winners.

So much talent radiated from the two days of coaching and competition at Warwick Business School on 1st – 2nd  April 2019 it was a difficult task for our judges to decide our final winner but in the end they awarded Steven Berry representing Manchester City Council with our One to Watch and Hayley Camporses representing Onesource with Rising Star of the Year. That in no way diminishes the brilliance of the other exceptional finalists who all show cased their skills and abilities brilliantly. We were blown away by their individual talent and truly inspirational personal stories.

It has been fantastic to work with, and getting to know, a group of people at the start of their careers, all bursting with enthusiasm to learn, demonstrating an ability to grow, and passion for working in the public sector – what a privilege – and thanks to you all! Everyone was a great ambassador for their organisations and have bright futures ahead of them.

“PPMA’s One to Watch Competition was full of challenges outside of my comfort zone, but within a safe space supported by brilliant coaches. The concepts explored and insightful feedback will stay with me throughout my career. One thing I will never forget – the importance of breathing through my feet!” – Sophie Adams – Leeds City Council

We cannot wait to celebrate their win along with all our other talent programme winners at this year’s PPMA Conference to held on 14th – 16th May at The Hilton Metropole Birmingham.
