Past Presidents

Serving as part of the PPMA Leadership community is alot of hard work, but it is also a great professional honour.  We are proud of our history and we don’t want to ever forget that as we forge ahead into our future.  We keep in touch with our PPMA Past Presidents and we do a quarterly update for those who wish to keep up with all that we are doing.

When the Association was created, it was known as the Society of Chief Personnel Officers in Local Government and known as SOCPO.  In 2006 the Association was transformed.  It’s focus extended to all of public services and our membership community today includes Central and Local Government, Blue Light, 3rd sector and other organisations.

Given the length of the association, we have sadly lost Past Presidents.  For those we have been able to honour, you can click on their name to see an obituary.

Our roll call of Past Presidents is as follows.
