Rob is a specialist in bringing positive psychology to life within organisations. He is the founder and Chief Positive Deviant of Tailored Thinking, a pioneering evidence-based positive psychology, wellbeing and HR consultancy who were named the UK’s HR Consultancy of the Year 2020 by the CIPD.
Rob is a TEDX speaker, author of Personalization at Work and Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and the Australian HR Institute. He is world-leading when it comes to enabling and encouraging job crafting and personalised people experience and his work, ideas and research has been presented at academic and professional conferences around the globe.

Ian Davidson
Chief Executive, Tendring District Council
Ian Davidson is Chief Executive of Tendring District Council, a post he has held since 2010. His overriding ethos is that the Council should take a community leadership role for the area as a whole, working with all public sector providers.
Since 2010 Tendring has undertaken a fundamental transformation and reorganisation programme and recently achieved IIP Gold. Ian has driven inward investment and growth opportunities whilst addressing internal structural issues. For example, Tendring has delivered a jointly funded £36 million coastal defence scheme which protected the coastline, housing and businesses whilst creating opportunities for inward investment and growth, with benefits such as: new sustainable businesses; apprenticeships schemes; new leisure and tourism offer; development opportunities; and nature and wildlife activities.
The Council has adopted an ethos that the only way to fundamentally change the way to deliver services is to take a holistic approach to public services. Ian is a member of the Essex Health and Wellbeing Board and chairs the Essex Strategic Coordination Group.
Prior to working at Tendring, Ian worked at the Audit Commission as an Area Manager. Ian has also undertaken an extensive programme of work on behalf of the Council of Europe, supporting the strengthening of local self-government and developing democracy and public services. This has included working in Chechnya, the Russian Federation, Serbia and Bulgaria.
Ian started his career in the RAF where he flew a desk!

Sarina Mann

As a presentation coach, Sarina helps business owners and professionals speak with confidence on camera for videos, webinars and online courses.
As someone who experienced high anxiety and panic attacks growing up Sarina made it her mission to learn what it takes to become confident, and to even overcome one of life’s most common fears – the fear of public speaking.
She shares her lived experiences and personal stories in her talks that educate, motivate and inspire.
Sarina has won multiple awards as part of Toastmasters International and has competed and won awards in speech contests at local, regional and even national
levels.
Sarina challenges the myths about public speaking, talks about what it really means to be confident and shines light on the often misleading ideas behind authenticity and what it really means to be an authentic speaker.
In addition to her inspiring talks she’s also a coach and trainer helping business owners and professionals overcome their fear and develop their skills in order to
speak with impact on camera for videos, webinars and online courses.
She does this by delivering workshops to teams and with her Breakthrough Virtual Speaker Group Coaching Programme for business owners.

Chris Naylor is a former local authority CEO, who was Chief Executive of LBBD for seven years from 2015, during which he was named CEO of the year by the MJ in 2020, and LBBD was twice named Council of the Year. He seconded to Birmingham City Council for a year in March 2020 to help the city with its ongoing improvement journey and to help lead through COVID and preparations for the Commonwealth Games. Now he a Director of Inner Circle Consulting, helping Councils up and down the country transform what they do.

Julie has been Managing Director of Penna for 11 years and a Board Director of Adecco PLC for five years. Prior to this she was Chief Executive of Tribal Resourcing and Managing Director at Euro RSCG (now Havas). She is a nationally renowned recruiter and commentator on public sector recruitment and is an active consultant advising local authorities on their resources strategies and executive recruitment. She has recruited more Chief Executives in Local Government than any other recruiter and supported clients across the UK to build their senior leadership teams. Julie was a Member of The Guardian Public Leaders Advisory Board and now sits on the Care Leaver Covenant Business Council chaired by Sir Peter Bazalgette.

Chris is a co-founder of Inner Circle Consulting and a Board member of the Management Consultancies Association. He’s a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Management Consultant. Chris began his career in private sector construction before switching to the public sector in 2009 where he works with senior leaders to tackle their knottiest challenges; ranging from large scale transformation programmes to regional house building initiatives.
