PPMA is delighted to publish early our Annual 2017 Conference agenda. The 2 day gathering of Public Service HR & OD colleagues is jam packed this year and we are giving you plenty of time to review the agenda and organise your diaries. Early bird booking will end shortly, so please do book soon and make sure you have your place.
We’re really excited about this year’s conference. There is always a lot going on in Public Services, but it really feels that there is an extra buzz about this year. We’re covering Brexit, Health and Social Care Integration and Public Sector operating models. Article 50 will just have been launched, so it’s really timely that we have a discussion on it this year.
We’ll also have lots to share in terms of developing HR & OD professionals of the future. Our Peer Into The Future, HR Stars and HR Apprentice programmes are vital to this, but we want to take it further. For those of you who are dedicated to a career in Public Services, these are must attend sessions.
This year, we are running 8 optional sessions. We’re sure these are going to be really popular. Because of this we are running 4 of the sessions on the Thursday and the rest will run on Friday. Please look at the agenda carefully so you can plan your time well.
We’ve a couple of new things as well. We’ll have a showcase event at the end of Day 1 – this is an opportunity to colleague to share a really great piece of work. We’ll be publishing more details on this shortly as we would like to encourage you to express an interest IN POTENTIALLY SHOWCASING A PIECE OF YOUR GREAT WORK. Day 2 starts with a really important networking opportunity for members/partners and sponsors. Because conference is so busy, it’s not always possible to spend as much time networking as possible – so we hope you will agree that this is a welcome slot.
We’ll be sharing conference session summaries next month – these are some taster as to what you can expect when you attend the session. Here’s the agenda – if you have any questions please email us on [email protected].
So – get looking and booking! And please share with your colleagues – we can’t wait to see you in Bristol.
