The new reality brought upon by COVID-19 with KPMG and Oracle
The new reality brought upon by COVID-19 has thrust HR as a function to the forefront within Local Government. In both Public and Private sectors, HR is being asked to develop new strategies, policies and plans on how to manage workforces in remote and shared workspaces, navigate risk, and negotiate workplace safety.
The response HR is providing needs to be practical and simple as well as operationally sound and empathetic. As a function, HR needs to continually develop and evolve as part of its business continuity planning, as it itself reacts to health and scientific advice.
Please join the PPMA webinar where Mel Newton, UK Partner in the Financial Services People and Change Practice, leading KPMG’s COVID-19 People Consulting response, will discuss the practical steps of getting ready for a return to the office including workforce planning, risk mitigation, and employee engagement. Joining her will be Kerry Nutley, UKI Strategy Director at Oracle who will discuss the emotional considerations and key learnings learnt from the latest HR Talk Time series.
You’ll hear about:
- The four stages of the COVID-19 response and the planning steps involved in each
- HR and the new focus on business continuity and resilience management
