PPMA Excellence in People Management Awards 2019 PPMA Admin
Our Platinum Sponsors
We are delighted to announce the formal launch of the PPMA Annual Excellence in People Management 2019 Awards.
We had such a brilliant time at our awards ceremony in Gateshead that we’re really pleased our awards programme is starting off again. At PPMA HQ we look forward to this event as a wonderful opportunity to learn, share and celebrate the amazing work going on across the sector. We are so proud of all of the contribution made by HR and OD professionals across all Public Services and we welcome submissions from Local Government, Healthcare, Civil Service, Education and 3rd Sector organisations – this can also include partnerships with Private Sector companies.
It’s so important that your voices as members and sponsors are taken into account when we look at how we structure this programme. So, based on feedback this year we have taken the opportunity to this to brand our awards categories with our 8 strategic theme leads. We have also tried to ensure that the categories are as broad as possible to give a range of people the opportunity to submit and entry.
For all the awards, our judges will be looking for clarity of objectives, a degree of creativity and innovation and evidence that excellence and a real demonstrable impact has been achieved. As with last year, we are making all the judging criteria available.
By entering the awards you have the opportunity to nationally showcase your hard work and achievements, and to share best practice, your findings and your dedication with colleagues across the UK. One of the most important benefits of being a PPMA members is that you become a part of a passionate, committed and curious national community of practitioners, who are only too happy to share their experiences.
As always, we have a distinguished panel of judges from across local government, the NHS, sponsors and partners from the private sector – all leading figures and experts in their field. As always we are grateful for the support of our friends at The Guardian who run this programme on our behalf. We also appreciate the commitment that our judges show us, in supporting this process. Chief Executives and other senior leaders have little spare time as it is. The fact that they choose to give their time to our awards programme signifies to us how well they understand the impact of HR & OD in our organisations. Our leaders are just as invested in the success of this programme as we are.
Take a look at our Awards Introduction video. You will find additional information about the process, timetable, judges, criteria elsewhere on this webpage.
