PPMA were delighted to announce the shortlist for our Annual Excellence in People Management 2018 Awards at an event hosted by the Guardian in their Offices in London. As with previous years, our awards programme is an important opportunity for us to celebrate the best about our work and say thank you and well done to our colleagues who continue to operate in increasingly challenging circumstances.

Karen, our Vice President commented on how inspiring and energising it was to see shortlisted entrants coming from Local and Central Government, Blue Light and Health organisations. We are so proud of that.  Our members will learn so much from all these shortlisted organisations – sharing best practice is the quickest – and most cost-effective way – for our organisations to learn.

We hope you are as inspired and energised by the shortlisted entries as we are.  Full details can be found below.  You will see some very excited colleagues on our shortlisting highlights video – so enjoy watching it!
