The PPMA has always been committed to seeking out, sharing and celebrating the best practice in the attraction, development, retention and management of people in the public sector.

The theme for our 2015 seminar continues with “Pride, Community, Future” and is all about celebration as it recognises 40 years of PPMA. There is no better time to say thank you and well done to your teams through celebrating their determination, innovation and passion in public services.

Through our refreshed PPMA Excellence in People Management Awards, we want to shine a light on the innovative and creative projects that are making us proud in public service HR. Above all, these are individuals, teams and organisations, whom, in these challenging times, are supporting our communities to have vibrant futures.
We have a number of new awards this year that recognise that public services are being delivered in new and different ways, with partners, other organisations, the third sector, as well as across health, police, fire and with specialist suppliers. The new award categories are based on member feedback and recognise that our services are changing.

For all the awards the judges will be looking for clarity of objectives, a degree of creativity and innovation and evidence that excellence and a real demonstrable impact has been achieved.

Why Enter?

By entering the awards you have the opportunity to nationally showcase your hard work and achievements, and to share best practise and your energy and enthusiasm with colleagues across the UK.

We have a distinguished panel of judges from across local government, the NHS, sponsors and partners from the private sector – all leading figures and experts in their field.

We will be showcasing all the shortlisted entries on the PPMA website and in masterclass style events around the country regions in 2015.

We look forward to sharing in your success and seeing you on 16th April in Bristol!

If you need help choosing, evidencing or writing up your story for these awards, we can recommend asking the award entry writers at Boost Marketing to lend a hand.
