Hello PPMA members and friends

Staying up-to-date with the latest HR and Employment Law changes can be time-consuming. The experts at HR Connect, part of Commercial Services Group, who are our good friends and sponsors, have published an in-depth Top 5 HR & Employment Law Issues You Need To Know About In 2023 PDF which is available for PPMA members to download free.

Towards the end of 2022 the Government announced that it was supporting a series of private members’ bills, in turn encouraging their success through the parliamentary process and becoming law hopefully throughout 2023. HR Connect have set out in the Top 5 the main changes on the horizon. Whilst none of these changes are yet to reach the introduction of formal legislation, it is important to be aware of them.

The Top HR & Employment Law Issues Are:

Increases to Rates of Pay.

Flexible Working.

Carer’s Leave Bill.

Redundancy Protection for Pregnancy and Family Leave

Neonatal Care Leave and Pay.

Each issue is summarised and explored in detail, with data tables and FAQs, to provide valuable insight and keep PPMA members informed.
