DESCRIPTION:The MJ Awards 2020 are open for entries!\nIt’s the start of a new decade, another Roaring Twenties, and we are delighted to announce the launch of The MJ Local Government Achievement Awards for 2020. This year once again has a bumper 18 categories reflecting the huge range of services provided by local government.\nWe would also like to draw your attention to two new categories, Chief Executive of the Year and Best Local Climate Change Initiative, both highly topical areas.\nWe know how challenging it is to deliver such services during a time of spending restraints and it for this reason that we urge local authority teams to take the time to enter our awards and tell their peers the secret of their success. There are plenty of opportunities to be recognised by our expert panels of independent judges, with some 100 teams likely to be selected across our categories as finalists plus many more commended.\nThe big day when the winners in each categories are announced will be Wednesday 24 June 2020 at our gala night at London’s Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.\nFind out more here \nRemember, get your entries in by 31 January 2020.
