Schools out for Summer!

 

The summer holiday period is here – schools out for summer  - if you are going to be away from the office for maybe a week or two  how will you get over the withdrawal systems when the office Blackberry is switched off – you will switch it off - of course!!

 

You will return from your summer break fully refreshed and eager to meet the challenges that await and, oh yes, reunited with your office Blackberry.

 

As you are returning to the office fully refreshed have a think about your continuing professional development and how as a member of PPMA we can help you achieve your goals as well as those of your organisation.

 

What support, advice and development do you and your colleagues need? What are the challenges you and your organisation are facing?

 

Remember you are not alone. PPMA colleagues are a source of knowledge and advice covering all aspects of HR and OD.  The new website www.ppma.org.uk is a great reference tool and why not utilise “ask the expert” page.

 

As the lead for Member Engagement and Continuing Professional Development I would like you to tell me what we at PPMA can do for you to assist you develop your HR and OD skills and knowledge.

 

Some of you are already drawing up plans for regional events and meetings and this information will be posted on the regional pages on the website.
