Associate Membership

Associate membership costs £56 per year and runs from the 1st July to 30 June.

Any members joining after 1st January will receive a discount for the first year.

Associate Membership of the Association is open to HR or OD professionals within England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland employed in certain organisations. Qualifying organisations to enable Associate Membership are defined in Appendix A (2). This list of organisations is not exhaustive and the final determination of appropriate organisations that permit entrance to membership may be varied or updated from time to time by the Association and the final determination of eligibility for membership is delegated by the Policy Board to the Treasurer, in consultation with the National/Principal Officers and/or the Executive Officer of the Association. Associate Membership of the Association permits attendance at or access to any conferences, seminars, products or services that the Association produces or sponsors. Associate Members will receive the same benefits of membership applicable to Full or Group Members of the Association, with certain exceptions.

Associate Members of the Association are NOT entitled to vote or stand for election as a National/Principal Officer of the Association or Regional Chair/Vice-Chair. However, Associate Members may perform the role of a Policy Lead Officer, be a member of the Commercial Board or project lead for the Association by appointment of the Policy Board. At a regional level, Associate Members may also fulfil the functions of a Regional Secretary. Exemptions to these restrictions may be waived with the agreement of the Policy Board.
